Assignment #24 TED Talk

The video talks about some famous pictures of famous photographers. The speaker shows the reader how the photographer shoots the pictures and how to use their skill to take the famous pictures. The speaker said as a photographer, need to integrate into their own emotion to take the photos which the photos have stories. Most of the people will like the photos that let them feel comfortable.

Every picture that the famous photographers took can show the phenomenon in the picture. So let the reader know what situations that the photographers take photos. For example, in the video, there is a picture which is an icon of National Geographic, an Afghan refugee taken by Steve McCurry. For this picture, the girl will let readers feel so bad since the environment was bad in Afghan and Afghans to look like haggard. In the middle of the video, the speaker also shows us some pictures which are slums in Dharavi that took by Joe Jonas. Joe Jonas took these pictures and wanted to tell readers that many poor families and people who live badly in the world.

After I watch the video, I think we should photograph pictures that can reflect our daily lives. And we should record our lives' phenomenon of the society that let others know what we look like and how can we improve our lives. For the pictures which reflect the people who live in the slums, I think we should help them and give them power; letting more people feel warm from the society.
